Regular training hours

Men’s team
Tuesday from 20.00 to 21.30 hrs at the Vijfkamplaan 31
Friday from 20.00 to 21.30 hrs at the Vijfkamplaan 31

Women’s team
Tuesday from 19.30 to 21.00 hrs at the Vijfkamplaan 31
Thursday from 19.30 to 21.00 hrs at the Vijfkamplaan 31

During training, all facets of the rugby sport are trained. Everybody trains on running and tackling. The forwards focus on the tackling, scrums, line-outs and mauls. The backs focus more on passing, codes in the line, hand-offs and kicks.
The men are trained by Sam, Freek, Cyril, Joris and Mark. The women are trained by Anna and Caro.

Necessities

If you want to join us for a training session, you’ll need at least:

  • Tooth protection (molded to your teeth)
  • Solid sports pants (short)
  • Solid shirt (which may get damaged / dirty)
  • High sports socks (eg football socks)
  • rugby shoes (or football shoes)
  • Towel
  • Clean clothesIn rugby you get dirty so most of us shower at the training site.

    Kinds of membership

    Not everyone is immediately able or doesn’t want to give 100% for The Elephants. Therefore we offer different kinds of memberships for varying individuals.

    Playing member: access to all games, trainings and activities
    Recreant member: access to 6 games en all trainings and activities
    Training member: access to all trainings and activities

    Recreant and training membership can be upgraded during the season to a playing or recreant membership.
