What is rubgy?
Rugby is one of the most widely practiced sports in the world.
Especially because of the sportsmanship combined with the physical effort, this sport is hugely popular.
The sport is based on simple land conquest: two teams, under the direction of a referee, must try to push the oval ball to the ground behind the last line. Rugby is played by two teams of 15 players, including eight forwards and seven line players (also called three-quarters). The forwards use their physical strength to capture the ball and the line players use their speed and agility to gain ground. A game lasts 2 x 40 minutes with 10 minutes of rest in between.
Although things are often tough on the field, rugby players have a mutual code of honor based on respect. For example, teams thank each other by forming a gate of honor for the opposing team after the match, and whining and complaining to referees is not-done (and also punishable).
